Queen Street Cottage

Sit in rocking chairs on the front porch of this 1910 Historic Beaufort, N.C. Cottage and enjoy a beautiful view of the sailboats moored in Taylors Creek. A creek renowned as a hiding place for Blackbeard, the infamous pirate. In fact, the remains of one of his sunken ships,  "The Queen Anne’s Revenge" was  recently discovered only  a few hundred yards of where you will be sitting. Watch carefully and you will see the creek's  wild horses that have been roaming the island since Spanish explorers left them due to ship wrecks in the late 1700's. Only a few steps from the Cottage, stroll down the town boardwalk and its docks to observe ships and vessels from all over the world.  If that does not appeal to you, meander down Front Street, only half a block away and visit an array of restaurants, pubs, shops, clothing stores, a deli and grocery store. However, if you don’t like all the front porch offers, relax and enjoy a mint julep sitting in  Adirondack chairs, in a garden surrounded by a white picket fence and the aroma of roses and gardenias. Included is a picnic table and gas grill to test your chef skills.

This 3BR, 2 bath cottage was totally renovated in 2012 and features a modern kitchen with microwave, large living area, dining room, oak hardwood floors, ceramic tile baths, washer/dryer, 38" flat screen TV, DVD and wifi.  Bring the whole family and enjoy all of these features for only $275 per night on a weekly basis.
