Great White Shark

We have had a visitor swimming in our waters, of late. A great white shark that was tagged with a device that sends signals revealing its location and movement to scientists, as well as to us. The website Shark Tracker WCTI 12 in New Bern has a good story here.

Beautiful Week End
12/10/12 06:14 PM
Hello, I have been absent blogging for a while. Been busy selling real estate, but I wanted to share a couple of images I captured in Beaufort.
The Carrot Island Ponies were grazing on a beautiful day, December 9, 2012, about sunset. Later they trotted over to the water hole and got a little fresh water.
December 8th we had our “Art Walk”, and coming down the street was this dog, looking pretty proud.

Sandy Arrives In Beaufort

Sandy Thankfully has spared Beaufort her wrath, but Ocracoke and points northward haven’t been so fortunate. I understand from Tradewinds Tackle that a foot of water is on Hwy 12 in front of their store.
